My offer was a stock coupe engine removed from a clients car. That engine is long gone.

I think if you go with a B35 and a custom ECU you end will right back where you started. Stuck with a motor that needs tuning and won’t run.

Find a running e34. Pull the motor and computer. Don’t change or customize a thing. Use the battery and the starter from the donor.

The Stim is an emulator that mimics a motor. So you can configure the Stim to behave like an S38, plug it into your megasquirt computer, and use the stim to build your base map. It is just a starting point and probably no better than a map that is available online.
