Here´s the "Yellow" version, assembled with the CSL-rod and the CSL-engraving.
The colour "GOLD" was not available, therefore I let them powdercoat in yellow, as primer :

Strut bar design---

I'm aware that the following subject has come up for discussion in the past but once again--

I know it's a tall order--but is there anyway to design and fabricate a similar strut bar and with same mounts for a carburated 2800 CS? One such that would fit the BLUMAX. Perhaps with a strut bar that would drop the bar below the limiting edge of the airbox that would be functional and not just an ornamental device.

BLUMAX is now fitted with 38/38 downdraft Webers and a stock factory airbox--#2270016 was originally delivered at the factory in Munich on 10-1-1969, as a US spec E-9 to the original owner. He was a US Army Officer duty stationed in Germany. I bought it from him in February 1972 and has been in my care for the 41 years since.

It remains in superb driving, handling and cosmetic condition with many awards from judged events. If such a strut bar could be produced it would wear your workmanship with great pride

The problem of my strutbar is : it´s adjustable !
If it were stiff, I could make a notch or taper where the airbox is located.
But in the next days I send a strutbar to Chuck, CCR2002, and he has a 3,0 CS !
Maybe he can help............

I have a 2800CS w/ webers and I'm not sure whether I have a standard airbox or not so we will just have to test it once it arrives. I feel fairly confident that I can find a buyer if it doesn't work.

I am taking the same approach with mine, as I have to fit it around an Alpina air box. I know from photos of Duane Swords car it should work as his has a similar styled bar made in very small numbers by a US resident. I will have an unused Ireland Engineering bar for sale at a discount if Andi's bar fits my airbox (fingers crossed). The Ireland bar can be made to work with my setup if Orangener's does not.
