Thanks for the update. As mine (and a few others on the list from what I've seen) is not a CSL, could you omit the markings on the bar? Unless, of course, it's possible to have "2800 CS" or "Uma" (my car's name) instead.

Good news !
On friday I will get the plates from the foundry !

Today i gave 32 left-hand threaded and 32 right-hand threaded nuts to my welder to let him complete the tubes.....

Some of you asked me about the colour or surface, the CSL-version and the engraving :

The tube is brushed stainless steel, plates are uncoated aluminium, you can say its silver.
Screws, joints and nuts are galvanised steel, bolts are hardened steel.

The engraving of the bar is optional, I have to take upcharge:

3,0 CS : 30€
3,0 CSI / 3,0 CSL / 3,5 CSI / 3,5 CSL : 35€
2800 CS : 40€
Name of your car with maximum 8 letters in the font you would like: 50€

CSL-Version with extra bar and joint mounted on the left plate and aluminium bracket/clip on the rod : 45 €

The tubes are all finished ! What a f.....g job !
Next week i will send the plates to the sandblaster and the rods for the CSL-Version to blue zinc plating.
As soon as I get them back I will make the first parcels, for those of you who have no engravings on the tube.
Maybe those strut bars will arrive before X-Mas :wink:
