Hi all, I'm looking for a set of black wiper arms and blades for my 74 CSi.

I'm told they were anodised black (not painted).

I'm in the UK. If anyone has a set of know of a set I can buy, please reach out to me.

Thanks, Michael.

Black ones are still available, but they are both the same while in the past driver side has additional wing on it.

The main part of arms is steel & it is black painted, only splines part/mount is anodized, rest is painted.
I found this on W & N but they say LHD only.

does it make a difference?
If you don't care about 100% factory look - no difference.

Properly should be - driver side arm with spoiler, passenger side arm without spoiler.

Driver vs. passenger side

In the parts book there is 61 61 1 357 637 and 638 with the note: rim toothing, from Modell 73, USA-Modell 74
And also 61 61 1 359 121 and 122 with the note: notched teeth

I don’t know what the difference is.

Chrome was 61 61 8 744 138/140 and satin was 61 61 1 352 323/324

Please note, for the numbers are provided, and might still be available at BMW both sides are the same shape.

I know (as Chris has mentioned) that in the past driver side has always a wing to push the wiper more on the windshield.

I'm pretty sure LHD and RHD should have some slight differences as Wladek mentioned before.

@HB Chris
Were the black versions following the black hood and fender's trims.
It seems for polaris trims were always black but I'm not sure about the wiper arms.
Unfortunately I do not have the spare part book so far at hand.

FWIW The silver/chrome ones on NEW are what came with the car when I first purchased it. I did dally with black ones for a while but they did not look right to me.
