Under my seat mount bracket had some rust on an otherwise very solid e9. Noticed the beads are off on the three towards the left. What did y’all do? Or did you send it?

Every time I see Walloth I think of Lewis Carroll...

’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

And walloth were the underfloors
And ness the vorpal seals
Come to my arms, my Bimmer boy
And claim some uffish deals...

I messaged the groove to better align with the adjacent panel. I started with the floor pan off on the bead roller, and then did some final massaging once the panel was welded in the car.

Here is the original misalignment I saw:

You may need to relocate the trailing arm nuts:

Else, your frame rail may not meet up with the foot well:

Yep. it isn't you. The beads are off. Makes you wonder what they used for the reference. Such a shame. Makes the job so much more difficult. I got mine close. Nice job @autokunst

i would think that this is information that should be relayed to W+N - especially the trailing arm mount

I did not have fit issues but I left a lip on mine, like an overbite on the inside and then welded rather than welded edge to edge. I then ground down the seam. I just fear someone will be deposited on the road. Perhaps I don't trust my welding....
