I just Googled Austin Texas Driveshaft Shop and there are lots of options. The e9 auto d/s is recommended only because it is shorter as the auto trans is fairly long but any d/s can be lengthened or shortened.
Thanks. Yes, two in particular including one that’s not really in Austin (Buda). I’ll confer with Terry, Ed Z, Barney and other knowledgeable locals on their experiences. I guess it’s harder in a smaller metro where there may not be a specialist. Of course, we are now seeing “big city“ prices here. It’s getting nuts. So go home prices, so goes everything else. I’ll have to see if remote or local ends-up being better and/or cheaper. I’ll end up going “better”.
