...and another also with a (shortened) E3 as the basis

I'm not crazy about either. Maybe it's because my mind KNOWS what an E3 SHOULD look like. Just as it knows what a pickup truck SHOULD look like when shown a picture of a Cybertruck. ;) In anycase, my non car person wife tells me the first one looks like Bertone tried to make a Chevy out of a BMW.

Bertone designs are nice. This one reminds me of Opels, prefer the real E3.

The Spicup I'm familiar with, but I'd never seen the sedan before - nice find. I agree that from the rear quarter view it is vaguely suggestive of a period Commodore in its proportions and forms.

I know this is a car forum, but that boat is one of the most beautiful vehicles that has ever graced it. How is it powered?

EDIT...I had to google it. Aluminum 507 V8 of course.

Not the first neither the last one. ;-)

In the end new cars only differs if you will closely look ... on the driver.
Yep, but even an ugly driver like me looks elegant inside a Pininfarina car... I cannot stop looking at the Fiat 124 Spider from the 80s...

IMO, the 66-72 small bumper cars are the ones to have...

View attachment 173491

Although there are kits available to convert the later cars to smaller bumpers.
I had a 72 spider in 84 - 1.6 litre (maybe 1.5). it rev'd like crazy. Loved that car - had lots of rust :). I wanted to paint it sahara at the time - not a very Fiat color

after you got rid of the plastic bra, did you lower the ride height to the original MGB (pre '74 1/2) height? looks like a nice primrose yellow

Another that is "shouting to be converted" are the 75 and 76 914s

Here's a 76 I converted (I no longer own this car.)..

The MGB and the 914 have been converted many times so there is lots of info and "how to do" help on their respective forums, and they aren't particularly tough jobs. I'm surprised you still see big bumper 914s and MGBs.
