Hard to explain in english, its not my native language :? !

I made a little drawing, i hope you can decipher my hieroglyphs :

skizze.jpg

The reels i bought via Ebay, unfortunatelly they were built larger than the original "Autoflug"-belts, so they wont fit underneath the rear-armrests.

The belts were like these: http://cgi.ebay.de/Universal-Sicherheitsgurte-fuer-Oldtimer-und-Youngtimer_W0QQitemZ220395223071QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r?hash=item220395223071&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1229|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

Opening in every position is supposition ! In German we say "neigungsunabhängiger Einbau"

Than i made two adapterplates made of 5mm sheet steel, adjusting to the edge of the wheelhouse and the location of the original upper mounting point.

The covers and the hooks are "handmade".......

In the rear i used BMW E39 belts i bought on the junkyard........

I don't know if this is of any use to you but here goes.I had the two front recaro seats and the complete back seat ( two pieces ) recovered in black leather of my E21 (1981 323i ) by a company in Broxbourne ,England. This was about two years ago and they did a real good job and charged me £1000 . They even did all the stitching exactly like the factory seats so it looked correct.
I have no affiliation with this company but I would use them again.
Best wishes Paul
London.
The contact no was 01992451622
