did you ever figure it why the engine wouldn’t turn over? is that why it’s out of the car. sorty I haven’t been following clearl closely lately but on a cursory look I don’t see a definitive answer yet?

Isn't it the case that there was a requirement for how high the headlights should shine, that's why the added the 5/8'' to the stance?
I think it was bumper height. Amazing the NHSTA could get involved in that over 50 years ago, but the current crop of bureaucracy can not figure out that the height of headlights in large SUV's and pickups results in these cars nearly blinding oncoming car drivers who have 'normal' passenger cars or our 'classic' models.
according to the Hoffman memo, it was to "correct the headlamp height to federal standards."

hard to believe for 568.00 tried to send money yet got messed up

Might as well use a sledge hammer! You need to work the gasket off the top edge from the inside.
Pushed the one in my 6 out using the foot method. It didn't crack and the still good seal was saved. The front windshield was already cracked, so we just pushed it out and cracked it a bunch more.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED,? if you are in Los Angeles I can give you a phone number, the guy came my home and took him half hour and he charge $300 I try 3 deferent company 1st one play 2 hour and he couldn't do it 2nd person destroy my brand new windshield seal and couldn't do the work I had to order another seal, and this guy said give me 30 minute I will complete the work front and back, he was very good and professional, let me know.

Yesterday was the 8th anniversary of the start of 4310316 begins. Now I don't want it to end, hope it goes to 10 years. Somehow, it makes me feel younger every time there's a new post.
