bdigel, It's been fantastic watching your progression, everything really turned out awesome so far. Great job and attention to detail, great color choice - not at all the usual CSL color scheme from what we can see now. It looks like it will be pretty hard to miss it out on the track. Super psyched to see how it looks in full livery.

PS: If anyone else has similar aspirations, I still have that '71 super solid shell in primer (and all the parts that came off the complete running and driving car) FS somewhere back in the posts. Please, save me from a similar fate..... I have too many other projects that are still in front of it.

Thanks guys ,

I made it up to the painters today , and it actually looks better in person . He still has the exterior of the doors, the hood, decklid, wings and front spoiler to do . then we can start putting it back together

I suspect it's photographing in this light a lot "hotter" than it will look in natural light... very nice.

And Brendan is it's name going to be Kermit?

Looks great. It will be so cool with the graphics.
Need to get over to see it when you get it back to the shop for assembly.

Later,
Gary

Love that colour, well done.
I remember that stage from when I was racing, having all the fabrication work and paint done , now it's bolting on all the goodies, the fun part begins.

So, if you decide you want to show this off to folks attending Sharkfest and the Walter Mitty races at the end of the month, please deal me in.

I would love to see this baby up close, even in a partially completed state, and I don't know when I will get to Atlanta again.

Possibly a stupid question

Any way to make that thing street legal, maybe under "antique" designation? I just think it may possibly be the coolest car to tool down the road in on occasion and I don't think anyone would miss it :)
