mine is 71, and it has it right there,
it is done on purpose, it is the perfect position to drive one hand, third gear, right hand on the wheel, the stalk is handy to mark your turns, left hand waving the air outside through the window
sorry i do not know where to get one, i bought mine NOS from Jaymic a thousand years ago, so sorry steve...::sad:

Yep

So I have two, one is the wrong one (looks right though) and the other works but you have to hold it down for right hand turns. Let me know if you are interested.

For the life of me I cannot recall the turn signals being integrated with the wipers and the washers in the coupes especially on the right hand side. I do remember tun signals on that side on a 2002 I had. My E12 1977 has it on the left. And you have a pull switch on the dash to turn the lights on? Post a few pictures of the switch for us. This is indeed an oddity.

I don't have the switch here and I don't know how to post photos. Here is a quote from the owner's manual. And the full-page photo of the dash shows number 11 as, "Lever for turn indicators, parking lights, screen wipers and screen washer." Number 11 then refers to page 11 where there is a photo of the stalk on the Right side and a longer description of how to use the turn signals, wipers, wiper speed preselector switch.
