WTB Large Nut Holds Spare

what i would like to find is the plastic cap that was put on top of the nut to keep the floor board from cracking when weight was put on it. did the coupe have those or was that later 5 series or 2002's?

Steve, you have jogged my memory, I think. Yes, it's that bad. I sort of remember a black '''bracket" that had two "lips" at locked onto the inner edge of the rim. It might have been held in place by a lugnut? C
Can anyone clarify, especially with a photo?

Thanks Golf. I will watch the auction. Yes a bit pricey, condition not great. How hard is that part to find considering it was on all the coupes and Bavarias. Don't remember how the spare was set up in my 1600.
