Hello,
I'm looking for a chrome rear plate cover w/fog light. I've attached a photo of the item in need.
Thanks Stuart

Are you specifically looking for the chromed brass version (=scarce) of this plate, or will the more common aluminium version als suffice?
(I have neither, but this is just to help you get the right part)

One in Germany available - but not fog. Cut it yourself?

I'm looking for the chrome brass version... thanks!

Aesthetically speaking, the brass/ chrome one looks perfect as it matches the chrome of the rear light frames whereas the Alu one looks dull and faded comparatively. Unmolested ones are extremely rare. As Don suggests, option is to cut the hole in….

The chromed brass matches the tail light frames. Be prepared to get the brass plate chromed again, after cutting the fog light hole. My '73 had the alum USA plate with the lights on the plate. Here's a pic of the brass plate with the Coupe King license plate holder and a stainless frame. The chrome carriage bolts that hold the plate to the body were in my parts bin for over 50 years. I knew I would use them someday. The "3.0CS" badge is also chrome. Yes, the trunk lid was out-of-wack. That has been corrected and is now in-wack.....

If your car is a Euro, it should have the hole in the rear panel for the foglight. I used this as a template to cut mine. Dremel works well and the little sanding wheel makes the corners rounded as Don points out.

Guy on Kleinanzeigen has a fairly decent one, and seems like a good price.

Gerade bei #Kleinanzeigen gefunden. Wie findest du das?
