I've seen the all-white on 2002's, and white/orange Italian on E9s, but never all white on E9s. Agreed: very cool.

Yes - The 'two tone' ones are from Italy.
The clear version..... Very interesting.
They would look even better with a set of 'Silver Bulbs' behind them to not give the egg-yolk look.

I have clear corners on my E38. And with the silver bulbs installed - no yellow shows till the bulb is illuminated. I've enclosed a pic of that car (with my 2002) for grins and giggles.....

I would never put those things on my ORANGE
But on a fairground-barker-blue-one like Bernhards it looks quite cool !

To do the problem:
Those white lenses were original "italian" lenses !
Because the yellow part is only lacquered.
He had a pair, where on one the paint was scraped off.......
He detached the old paint with a plastic cleaner named "Sprinter Power" :
