Not e9 but I finally got my e12 induction system reinstalled after vapor honing and ceramic coating the stub manifolds, C runners, log plenum, throttle body, valve cover with all new fuel hoses, coolant hoses and injector hoses. It’s a big job to reassemble but I had lots of photos or I wouldn’t have remembered where everything goes! Although a b28 it now looks like my b35.

Nice! I could get a clear set for you to smoke.
Let me know how yours turn out.
Will yo smoke the backup light lenses too?

Most likely. These would have been crystal clear so I put a slight amount of smoke tint to them to darken it.

Nothing beats vapor honing. What did you use to get the rest so clean?

It wasn’t bad to start with. Replated all hose clamps, new wiring loom clamps, replated brackets (missed a few) painted booster, new hoses. I used adhesive remover on the plastic covered wiring harnesses. A little Totally Awesome cleaner, that’s all.

Glued up the new lens and had a look see at what else I could do to improve things

Finished up welding the right rear chassis box member and made a few pieces for inside the front wing.

Got happy with the rubber mallet and started to squeeze the 10J rears in the back. Will be tight with the 245s but with the IE camber correction plates doable.
