Hi guys I am just wondering, what colour were our brake servos in the 70’s
I have attached a photo of 2 reconditioned ones for a 2002 ( not mine )
And I am wondering if a 3.0 CSI would have blue and black as the colours
I don’t think they would be blue and silver.
I am not sure though.
Thanks again

No, they are blue., or rather the cast bodies are. Aluminium castings are left "as is" and the vacuum chamber is plated silver (that will be zinc passivate). You find traces of the old paint on them somewhere, I did.

My 1973 3.0 CSi, Athena, originally delivered to Palermo Italy, has a satin black brake servo & master cylinder.

Hi there
Is your car RHD or LHD ?
I think the LHD ones might be all black.
Whereas the RHD ones are supposed to be blue and silver
But strangely mine seem to be black
Although there might be blue paint under all that grime.
