if that is on your 1971, then there are too many digits on your odometer?
Speedo does not go to zero! Sure Arde will have something to say about that!

The kph speedo in the E3 never goes below 20(kph), there´s a notch there for the needle to rest on (Unless the notch is broken off).
Btw, if I were going 20kph not only the bike but also the wall would be fast approaching and my timing for taking the picture would have been sensational.

The odometer in the E3 also never has 6 digits.
Except this one now has.

Was bored last weekend so I had a little fun with two E3 speedos and one E12 speedo. Lot´s of fiddling but having only 5 digits always bothered me, the E3 was built to run much further than that. The 354k kilometers is actually (most probably, could be 454 as well) what mine has covered so far.

The dial in the tach is an older project. An oil temp gauge.

The prize for the best answer though goes to: "Bike rack mounted on front bumper."

@bavbob: If you needed this picture to figure that out: You´re cooling system must be really bad, mate!
