VIN Picture

Can someone PLEASE email me a picture of the stamped chassis number by the firewall. I have seen the owners manual but it's not helping, a picture of the exact location would be of great help. The number might have been painted over.

likely you are not seeing the stamped plate atop the steering column behind the steering wheel...the location varied by model and year but it's somewhere...nobody in their right mind would paint over a VIN plate...
(well my ex wife might have in spite!)

I have found that there is another place that the number is stamped into the sheet metal itself on the firewall.
