one of two things happened - either the seller didn't really know what he was really selling (or the potential value) - he's not the one who spent the money on the car. or it was a problem child underneath that he discovered after buying it.
if he's not a real car guy and doesn't know anything about selling old cars, what's underneath would have never occurred to him. i really wish i could have seen it before hand and advised interested people.
but for the price it sold, one could spend 5k on a 5 speed install and still had a bargain (AS LONG AS ITS NOT A BASKET CASE)
