According to an e-mail today from W&N -

"In addition to many different spare parts for the model series BMW 2,5 CS - 3,0 CSL (E9) we will be able to offer you various new body panels like

  • front wings
  • floor parts
  • wheel housings
  • and many more spare parts
in our online shop."

We will see. o_O

That would of been really handy 12 months back :D
I'd of thought a big potential demand for front wings as they are basically unobtainable.
Guess we will wait and see.

Will they be making wings for all the E9 models ???
What do you mean all e9 models? CS CSI 0,8mm vs CSL 0,6mm?
I think it will be universal 0,8mm as with other body panels from W&N.

Anyway it's great news from W&N!

The information came to me as a general sales e-mail and was not written to me individually and so I am not sure what W&N intend.
However I suspect that Wladek is correct.
BMW have been making promises of this sort for years without any signs of action e.g. front grilles have been promised for years.
W&N are usually more reliable and it will be interesting to see what develops.

If you put a 0.8mm wing on a CSL, does that devalue the car ??

I also think that at some point it will devalue CSL that is 100% stock/genuine.
But as for me if we will take for comparison just for CSL:
1. NEW/NOS or very, very nice used condition 0,6 CSL Fender vs. NEW/Aftermarket 0,8 CS Fender, 1:0 for CSL 0,6
2. Rusted or repaired (doesn't matter how) 0,6 CSL vs NEW/Aftermarket 0,8 CS, 0:1 for CS 0,8
