W&N has NOS e9 bodies also. Just picked one up for 10K €.

Sigh… I wish

Anyhow interesting what is missing from available parts (not only from W&N but worldwide) to make new complete E9 body?

It looks like the list is rather short:
1. Roof (solid/sunroof) with the A/C pillars
2. Rear subframe
3. Door frames
4. Dash reinforcement
5. ...

?

Too many parts to list, including all fenders outer and inner, the tunnel, etc.

<sarcasm>Glad to see that BMW rectified the mistakes of their past when they designed the e28 chassis over 10 years after the first e9.</sarcasm>

Also, is this actually some type of Trojan horse, or does w&n sell hand cut wooden dollies? :D

I'm wondering why no one makes them for others (despite lower sections available at W&N).

The tunnel is a good point of missing parts. If it is rusty there is no E9 shell anymore as the rest has gone.

What is this exactly? It says BMW “new” part but this is obviously a used shell. The inside looks like it has rust in some areas and the floor pan looks well worn. And what looks like VIN plates covered with layers of paint… ?

I think it is a new shell exactly as described.
