Erik has given you the best advice. finding acceptable trim pieces like this that are 50 years old is extremely rare + difficult

There was a topic on the forum that the trims are similar at old MB models. Even part number was given for potential replacement for longer piece.

In fact many cars in 60's, 70's were using similar trims for the door cards.

I know some are just using piece of polished aluminum or "inox" profile

Have made replicas using wood moldings covered in Mylar Chrome tape.
$60 plus shipping for both front lower trim. Photos will be sent later today.

Complete set of four for $100 plus shipping.
Photo of one lower piece attached.
Very time consuming. At least three hours to complete the set of four. Also chrome Mylar tape is quite expensive and very hard to work with so there is a lot of waist because of wrinkles when applying tape to wood.
