Hello,

I have always wanted an E9 coupe, it's my dream car. Whether it be a 3.0CS or 2800CS. I am in the market for a project, as running restored cars are out of my price range ($50K).

I recently picked up a 1969 1600-2. Its a great running car, solid in all the right places but she does have the typical 2002 rust.

She is a great runner and will only get better after I give her some love.

Details:
-1969 1600-2
-Original black and yellow California plates
-Very good condition bumpers
-Rust in rockers, front fenders, small patch by quarter window, and small patch under windshields. I olan on having the rust fixed regardless if I sell or keep the car.
-2.0ltr engine
-Strong engine, single barrel weber
-hood has dent, missing chrome trim
-excellent conditon gas tank and filler neck
-funtioning eletrical
-flat european turn signals
-bad respray job

This is a great basis for a project as compared to some of the nightmare that have been restored. And perfect for someone who wants a running, driving, registered project.

As for the E9, let me know what you have, obviously E9's are more valuable so it would be trade plus cash.

Thanks,

Marco
