Congrats to Duane Sword and his 74 3.0 Alpina--1st in Class of International Sedans and Coupes.

Awesome turnout. Hopefully pics to follow. Great seeing
John, Tod, Michael, Len, Neal, Duane and all the coupes together...

Best,

Chuck

Thanks Chuck, great to have the E9 coupes take the clean sweep of our Class.... and as I shared with several folks, if I were judging the Jaguar E-type 4.2 in our class would have got my vote, and the rare Renault Turbo5 was phenomenal.

Attached some coupe shots from the gorgeous sunny day at Lime Rock Park. Great to see the coupes from Chuck, John, Len, Michael, Tod... no doubt you all had a fun drive home, it was completely police car free on my 3.5hour cruise home.

Unfortunately I saw a Morgan 4/4 in a wreck with a Hyundai... it happened only minutes before I arrived... everyone is ok, but there is one less Morgan on the road.

Here's a few more photos (taken from the Saturday when the vintage cars were on the track including the unveiling of the recently restored Mercedes W154) and a few other marques from the show on Sunday.

With 770 cars in the show from 1920s to present, track cars to trailer queens, I am glad we have digital cameras these days otherwise it would cost me a fortune in processing.

I wish I was there. And I wish anyone with a coupe or other classic would be at Buckingham PA on the 20th of Sept. There will be at least!! seven coupes and a cherry 2002 but we can always use more.

I wish I had applied sunscreen! Great day weather-wise, and yes, six coupes; all of which received quite a bit of attention. Congrats to Duane and Chuck.

Although this is a BMW board, I have to say that seeing a '67 Ferrari P4 and a Dino prototype (part of the PininFarina Museum for 40 years until recently purchased by James Glickenhaus) peel out of the 684 rest stop on the way up to Lime Rock was also a high point of the day...

Nice artsy shots Chuck. I see one too many roadsters in your photos. What's the next line to be added to your sig? Lol.

George finished installing his tranny so, one more coupe will be on the street soon. Maybe I get both of you by on Sunday?
