Unless....

Unless you're going to really strip the body of all the trim, wiring, interior, etc., I'd suggest that the drastic change you suggest will show, one place or several others, and LOOK LIKE SHIT.

I'm okay with Inka, though never owned a bimmer in that color. I just think that unless you'll go all the way, the spots you "miss" or choose not to paint will look really bad. Think: Inka against some kind of blue?! No thanks.

Don't do it. That is, unless you want one of the best looking bimmers. Then do.

Congrats schnell540 to a very beutiful CSL. Lovely colour. May I ask which VIN number your CSL has got?

Cheers

Inka

My favorite color by far but I agree with Honolulu. Gotta go all the way if you convert.

2275xxx, I believe my desktop is a picture of your Coupe, GE562862 front plate, Heidegger windshield banner, parked on a narrow road (track?) with hills in background, lighting about perfect. Found the pic one night, made it my desktop and have not been able to find it again. Gotta another copy or link?

Oh, that's not mine. Just a pic of an Inka CSL I know. Here's mine; it's Golf:

But I do own an Inka touring:

The downside is that you just cannot park your car anywhere in town.
The rear panel is too fragile.

+1 for bumperless here. Coupes have a great tail.

Being bumperless too, I can vouch for the increased 'paranoia'.
I tend to avoid major urban stop and go traffic and bridge toll plazas now if I can help it.

Too many people out there with lattes, PDAs and Nav systems not paying attention.... :x
