Hi All,

I need a little assistance from the experts.... I have purchased a replacement clutch cylinder from Walloth and Nesch - described as the pre 73 (mine is a 71) after it has been failing and leaking on the carpet.
I received the new clutch cylinder (part no 21 52 1104 262) had the old one pulled, but they are different, with different bolting positions....

Clearly not the same - refer attached picture new one on the top, old one on the bottom.

Ist - the wrong part? is it NLA, but BMW tell you to add packers to the replacement part? Is mine a 2800 cylinder?

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Cheers
Chris

The only replacement is an e21 MC. It does sit at an angle, the metal pipe from reservoir will need to be bent slightly. You will need to flatten the flange on firewall that interferes with the new Master, it is easy to do. It's just tough to get your fingers down there to put it all together.
