I am redoing my engine wiring harnesses, these 4 wires come out into the engine bay through a hole in the firewall to the right of the steering column. Are these the Zenith choke wires and speed sensor wires? They are green/white, violet/black, brown, and blue/black. Can't find anything definitive on the wiring diagram. I am thinking I don't need these given that I have neither emissions crap or Zeniths any more. I had 2 of them tied off before so I want to confirm the other 2 before hiding these.

No direct answer but everyone is offline today. :D Lot’s of historical chatter on the green/white wires.

Cut the zip tie and stretch out the wires

USA carb cars had a smog device at the middle of the firewall

I pulled these unused wires (I agree they’re likely for the carbs) back through the firewall to their source-I was going to zip tie them out of the way under the dash when I noticed that they unplug conveniently from under the steering column so out they came and into the “I’ll keep them in case I need them again box” which never happens.
