ebay parts prices

i guess i shouldn't be shocked ... but there is somebody in Canada (svensk_exports) selling a lot of used coupe parts. i thought i saw a few parts that looked a little high. then i saw the elephant skin panels on either side of the toolbox. decent shape, but not anywhere near perfect - $395 rear window glass - $349 ... then you will find some crazy prices for other things. if you want a good laugh, check it out

I've been thinking that about lots of eBay prices. Some items I have bought just a couple of years ago now go for four times as much now. I guess that points to the collectibility of these cars. Also glad I bought extra stuff back then!

i think it has something to do with there are too many people in the vintage Porsche parts market ... and you can't find bargain parts any longer. so now they are seeing blood in the water for our cars.

These are pure business guys. Just think some dude with lots of $$ wants to reinvest so he buys up loads of parts and hikes up the prices.

Really ruins it for the nice folks IMHO

But so is life....
