Decent shape, appears to be original, picked this up with some clutch parts from local BMW guy who moved to midwest parted out a E12 with a 262 Getrag 4 speed car while back. This shaft would need to be altered for use in E9, but might fit directly in E3 with 262 I believe, not really sure but can measure it for application placement accuracy .....
