Door Panel Chrome Strips

I took the passenger's side door apart today to determine what it will take to fix the window motor and I began to contemplate redoing the door cards & wood trim (re-veneer) and noticed that the driver's side bottom chrome door strip had a hole in it where someone tried to shore it up with a screw. I was wondering if anyone has a source for these as I can't find them anywhere.

I'm missing these too. I always wondered why someone would remove them...

I was thinking that a nice touch, while not stock, would be to replace the chrome piping with a nice strip of matching hardwood in the same shape as those found on the dash (separator strips).
