Converting to FI using L jet manifold

Looking to use a M30b34 motor with the log style intake. For those that have done this before, what have you done?

I know that the injector sizes are different. The sealing ring od is the same but the main dia. Of the L jet is smaller. Is it possible to machine the id to fit the newer injector?

For those that have done this let me know what was done.

If there are 10 x as many b35 engines at the junk yard
as b34 engines and the b35 engine has 26 more HP
and the same price- why would you want a b34?
