I've had Subaru seats in my car for a couple of years and was looking around the boneyards for a suitable armrest/center console. I found the console a while back in a 1980 something Honda but it had a blue felt cover. Earlier this week I found another Subie with the same color leather so I grabbed the console cover and adapted it to my Honda unit. Not bad for $20.

Next up is my third brake light adapted from a mid-80's E28.

Looks great! How did you attach the armrest to the emergency brake handle? I'd like to do something similar so that I'd have some cup holders.

It bolts to the tunnel. My cupholder is clipped to the glovebox.

Stan has a cupholder from a 528 that clips to the e-brake.

I bought the cup holders from a 528 and the groove on the back of the assembly fits nicely on the e-brake.
