Some radios are deeper than others. I have a Nakamichi 400 in my coupe and it does fit although it is difficult to get back in place. If you take the right side console panel off you can reach in and arrange the wires to give you room.

Do you recall the depth of the radio port?

I never measured it. I believe most radios like this are about 9"
When I rebuilt the car I put in an Alpine radio. I could add wifi and telephone. It's the same size as the Nakamichi.
I have RCA cables running to a subwoofer amp under the rear seat.
They run down the center tunnel.
They are thick and so I bought some 90 degree connectors for the back of the radio to help make the turn.
Yes, it's all very tight in there and always difficult to get back.
Patience!!!
