When I replaced my head and head gasket in 2019, the EGR valve had already been removed by a previous owner, but the pipe was still connected at the exhaust manifold. Does anyone know of a cap nut similar to part number 07119970263 (#5 in the diagram) that could be used to seal off the exhaust manifold? I removed the original nut from the pipe and tried to seal it shut with JB Weld, etc. with no luck. Thanks!

I tried JBWeld a long time ago and it blew out on a drive far from home, loud to say the least. It might just be NPT pipe thread. I plugged the manifolds #11 with cap nuts or drain plugs from Belmetric I think.

I capped mine at #11 from something I found at ACE hardware and threw out the rest, I think Chris is correct they may not be metric threads if I recall correctly.

Not sure if this is recommended, but when I bought my car it had the nut and a small section of the original pipe attached. The section of pipe had been flattened and folded a couple of times.
