Does anyone know the Bosch part number for a non-RPM limiting rotor, '73 3.0CS? (I.e. what looks like a regular old rotor.)I want to convert back to a points distributor -- have one -- but the rotor is broken and part of the number-bearing material gone. Might be able to get one locally if I had the part number. (How many different kinds of rotos can there be??)

I have 04033 in my car now (regular rotor).
Book calls for a rev limiting rotor of p/n 04141.

Hope this helps.

Almost any Bosch rotor will fit. Most (non-BMW / Mercedes) did not have a rev limiter. The rev-limited versions come (came) in different cut out speeds. I think the coupe has a 6600 RPM limiter but I have also seen as low as 5400 cut outs. It is a good idea to replace the rev limited rotors from time to time as I have seen the spring in them fatigue causong cut out at much lower RPM.
