I was just wondering if you are restoring your car and had the windows removed Does the car then have a tendency to flex or distort bend in area. Please any information is very helpful Thanks Daniel

The e9 body is not a paragon of structural integrity and stiffness but unless you plan on doing some serious body work (cutting out major areas) I would not worry too much about the body bending. I've had the windows out of all three E9 projects I've undertaken and I've never had a problem.

I'd be more concerned about flex with the windows in the car, as there have been many tales of improperly lifting the car causing the windows to shatter. If you support it properly on a 4 point lift, it should be fine.
