86mm Crank into 3.0 block

Has anyone fitted the 86mm crank into the 3.0 block?

Is there clearance for the crank throws?

How much would the block need to be relieved ?

I've done it. The project is still in progress I have to work out about 8 mm deep and 12mm wide and must have 3mm of space. I still have the cooling holes drilled between cylinders on the exhaust side. The connecting rods facilitate and polish, etc.

Are there any technical and/or economic advantages this might yield as opposed to simply transplanting an M30B35?

I've got a leftover 3.0 lump that I will probably toss unless I can realize any value from future efforts.....I'm genuinely interested in your thoughts.

No, I do not know any technical or economic advantages.
Reasons come to mind would be: I want to work up the original engine and also much more torque.
My reason was pure curiosity, if it works. And ... it is
