I'm looking at E9's now and have owned and built many types of cars, but never an E9. Based on the guide here:
http://www.e9coupe.com/buyers_guide/index.htm - and a fair amount of technical car knowledge, do you believe one could legitimately inspect a car, or is it a "niche" talent specific to E9s to get a true evaluation? Just curious.
Sorry to highjack this thread with "technical" input.
One other thing, has anyone put together a rust prevention guide? Welding certain holes, sealing specific seams, maybe drilling holes in the torque boxes for moisture draining, etc. Again just curious.
I'm not much of a trophy collector and plan on driving my car frequently. Yes I'm the guy that uses the china regularly.
