I thought I would post this in case anyone was looking for a 3.3L motor. The whole car is only $300. Says needs head work but has extra head and anyone buying this I'm sure would do full motor rebuild anyways. Part out the rest and you have a free motor with some money to put into rebuild. Lists a manual transmission to go with it but no pictures of it.

i always liked the 533i engine. i had an '84, it pulled strong + rev'd quick. i liked it a lot more than the 535i engine from the '85 / '86 ... not sure why as i thought they were both b34 engines ... maybe i'm wrong.

i like the idea of the brake booster on the e28, but it was not a joy to own, seems like i had to replace mine twice ... once when i bought the car, and again about 5 to 6 years later.
