Hi guys
I am looking for a bit of help please.
Can someone tell me which port on the fuel rail takes the pumped ie pressurised fuel hose and then which one is the return to the tank ?
Apologies if it seems like a strange question. I just want to make sure I connect her up correctly.
Thanks

I think you may have the fuel rails on the wrong way round - well mine don't look like that anyway..o_O

On mine the fuel goes in at the front end of the rail, from a flexible hose connected to the filter. The return is from the pressure regulator and the "spare" outlet near the centre of the rail is for the cold start injector. Here's a photo of mine part way through fitting up.

Oh I might possibly have them on the wrong way around alright .
I took them off about 8 years ago and can’t find a “ before “ photo.

I have been putting them back together just this week and what is worse is that my wife wants the kitchen table back :)

I agree with @day66. Here's a pic of mine (please ignore the incorrect position of the fuel filter). Green is in, red out (coming of back of fuel pressure regulator). The center connector goes to the cold start injector.

Hi guys
I have just put it all back together again.
Does it look correct this time
And also is the pressure regulator bolted on correctly?
Does the return line to the tank come from the bottom port on the pressure regulator ?
Thanks again guys !!!

I think that’s it, I can take a look at my before photos tomorrow if that would help to check the position of the regulator (though I suspect it can only really go in one place). Yes, the return line connects to the central port on the regulator - hope that helps.

Thanks again for spotting my mistake earlier.
You saved me from a bigger headache later on , in the engine bay.
