The car was mentioned on this forum a few years ago as a RHD car, also the chassis number is for a RHD car. I assume it has been converted, clearly looks like LHD now!

What happened with this auction sale?

I tried to get info on it from Coys as I was thinking of doing a absentee bid on it. They sent me a condition report 1 hour before the auction ... which was useless as it didn't contain any useful details other than confirming (a) it was converted from RHD "using all BMW parts," and (b) it originally come from BMW with the BAT kit. This last point doesn't seem right given the year of the car.

This experience adds to my dislike of auctions as a way to buy cars. The auction houses seem no better (and many times worse) than a typical classic car dealer.

Anyone know what happened with this car?
