I bought a car that was registered to a German "tanksteller" or, service station; one owner for thirty years. Still have the original service book...one stamp, probably for warranty obligations. This car that runs/rides like new has NO service records. Now, that won't make people happy when time comes to sell. namely me. There was an Alfa Giulia Super on BaT recently that had a 25,000 dollar receipt for a motor job. A lttle 4 banger with press-in wet liner and piston sets that are cheap! Most service records are great to have but some of these things just document a poorly managed ownership.
