BMW2000C

Hello All,
I am looking to sell my 1967 BMW 2000C “project”. I’ll try to keep the explanation short. I purchased the car online in 2013 from a seller in the Northwest with the intent to restore the car. When I was ready to restore the car, I turned the car over to a restorer (introduced through a “friend”) who disassembled the vehicle to get it prepped for the body work/paint and sent the engine/transmission to LaJolla Independent (in So Cal and a specialist in vintage BMW's-you can see them at www.bimmerdoc.com) to get them professionally rebuilt (which they were-at a cost of $7551 -in Nov 2015-I have the two receipts-one for $6886 and one for $665), and then....nothing. The guy held my disassembled car at his garage for over 2 years making excuse after excuse until I finally got all the parts and body out of there and into my garage where they now occupy space. I’m not mechanical, not in the same financial position as I was, and not as passionate about the car as I was a few years ago. It’s time for this 1967 BMW 2000C to go to someone who will do something with this car as it’s a shame for a rare car such as this to be gathering dust.
Below I have pics of the car when I got it and the car in present condition. I’m open to offers on the car, just please keep in mind that besides the cost of the actual car, I have over 7 grand in the engine and transmission. When the car was taken apart it was already missing metal trim around the two side windows and 1-2 hubcaps as well as a few knobs in the interior so it should pretty much be all there though I have not done (nor would I know how to) inventory what I currently have. This car is physically located in North San Diego County, California. The parts are in my garage in Fallbrook, CA and the body is in my friend's garage 10 minutes away in Vista, Ca. Also, I have the Washington Title in hand. The car has not been registered in California. Please email me any reasonable offers or questions that you may have and I will do the best I can to answer them.
Thanks,
Robert
