Would anyone happen to know please the purpose of these bolts / nuts that are affixed to the scuttle panel please?
I would think not: the bolts are installed from the side of the wiper motor and the fixed nuts are on the engine side; this makes me think that whatever should be attached with these bolts, should reside in the space next to the wiper motor.I have them as well, couldn’t be for a CSL hood prop could they?

Except it shows one bolt and one nut and washer where the nut would not be needed as it is already mounted. I like this solution though I have never seen one in person.One of these 2 bolts is used to attach a bracket that holds the fuel filter in carb models if I am not mistaken. This bracket is almost always missing. Part 13321256490
