I had a lot of fun restoring this as winter project and it's ready for someone to use. It's an early style gauge set with Ivory lettering. Lower RPM redline and date stamped on speedo suggest 2800CS.
-Every gauge has been dis-assembled and cleaned.
-The clock is an early style "Ticker" which I painstakingly repaired, cleaned, and oiled with proper clock tooling. One of the spindles had an elongated pivot hole, which caused the clock to occasionally stop. I drilled, reamed, then pressed in a new bushing and she works much better now (Google it, it's fascinating).
-All lights function, fuel and temp gauges move with voltage applied
-Wire harness was rewrapped with the European style cloth tape, connectors are in great shape.
-Veneer was stripped of lacquer and lightly sanded, which I found to be in pretty good shape. I put a little teak oil on it to help show grain in pics. Flaws are highlighted in pics with a toothpick. I have new veneer (European walnut) available and can install free of charge if someone would like me to, but it likely won't match yours.
I'm hoping to recover my costs and donate a bit to the forum, does $750 plus shipping seem fair?
