SOLD Very nice fuel cap with key and bmw emblem

Hi,
I have this very nice (!) lockable BMW fuel cap for E9 and Neue Klasse for sale.
My first intention was to put it on ebay to my other auctions.
It's because Ive never had this before, and in a really nice condition. No dents, no scratches.
I'm currently selling my no longer needed parts here on ebay (one offer here https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.de/ulk/itm/153823639929 please see sellers other items if interested) , also 5 different fuel caps for 02. I've a lot of 02 parts but I'm proud of this e9 one.

Thats interesting. Its not available at W/N and not at BMW in Germany. I've seen one before for about 100 EUR in NOS condition.
Why are they ´still available in UK for 50GBP? Strange

Thats for 2002. I have 5 different caps for 02 actually in my ebay offers. Also this one, but without bmw emblem.
The one I posted here is much smaller, only for E9 and Neue Klasse and hard to find afaik

i think you all need to stop doing this,

this is a for sale advert,
@Sebs is an excellent seller that provides us with nice parts
it is unfair to offer alternatives that had not been checked and end up being not a real alternative
pathetic other people cheering with funny faces
at the end seller reputation is questioned and not all the times there is a reason for it
i would encourage to respect sellers or they might not come back and we will all loose

i hear you deQ ... when i am selling something, if i have overpriced it because you can buy new from BMW for less ... then i want to know. the goal is to sell one's spares and if they are considered overpriced, they won't sell. that is simply feedback. that being said, at times these discussions also bring up differences as to why the NOS part is better than the new one ... as it might be different. i also did NOT see any attacks on @Sebs within this thread. this FS post does look like a very nice part.

hey rs, the things you do not see, are the ones you do not see, you only see the things you see, right

lets enlighten this a bit

if one says that the part is available at the dealer, and it is NOT, that is not frigging feedback, that is a load of dirt upon a sale, and on the seller
if one compares a non original part, aftermarket, what else ? ....with an original part, that is not a correct comparison
posting a link from a part aggregator that does not even have the parts available is again a wrong comparison
not to mention the funny faces of some xxyz (you did see that one, right ?)
i recall a similar story with someone that mixed up fuel pumps, then when it was already sold came back for the real thing
i propose a direct check with the seller not to blurr the whole thread and then you might react if needed
it is funny that the sellers feedback is monitored and the for sale adverts not...

....mental note for myself...something to think about today
