Product Description
Give your collection a fun, retro twist with Hugh Hefner's 1973 BMW 3.0 CS Coupe. The beautiful car is silver in color, with blue leather interior and wood grain detailing. A stunning exhibit piece that's been housed in a museum for the past few years, this impressive collector's piece is accompanied by a photocopy of the original title page of the BMW service manual, which was dealer stamped, dated, and shows Hugh Hefner as the original owner with delivery address listed which is the Playboy Mansion. Also found inside the glovebox was a mostly illegible California registration showing model, actress and singer Barbi Benton as a later owner. Since she was Hefner's girlfriend in the 1970's, it is likely this stunning piece was a gift to her as well.

But the stains on the seats are great conversation pieces!
I thought that those were the typical Hefner “hidden issues” that @Sooner was referring to.
The paint does look more like the single stage grey. I have seen that color only once. As likely as not, car was tapped in the rear and and the bumper replaced with a more available 72 or older bumper, hence the redundant license plate lights?Strange as it’s a 73 with earlier bumpers, the paint looks more grey than Polaris and check out the seat track, looks very strange. Also looks like basketweave vinyl seats.
I mean, it WAS Barbi Benton's car. As likely as not, car was tapped in the rear
