Hi DQ,

Thanks for the elaborate info on this tyre. probably the best publicity ever written.;)

As you know I'm also still looking to upgrade my set of Michelins on the Cs. Would this tyre also fit the standard E9 14"" wheel?

Hi Guys,

Well they arrived today. Impeccable service from that company.

Hope to have them installed early next week and will give some more feedback.

Hi guys,

Just to let you know that since yesterday the Blockley's 205/70/14 are mounted and replaced the tires the car came with Michelin "Energy saver!!" 195/70/14.

Not even drove 50km with them but that for sure was enough to feel the difference. Most important difference for me are the stiffer side walls immediately giving me a much more stable car compared to the soft Michelin's. On top of that they are very comfortable and very quite, not something I had expected looking at the tire profile.

Since I have no sporty ambitions what so ever with my E9 and my suspension set-up most likely can't be compared with DQ's I'm not going to comment on their qualities under more extreme conditions. That being said I'm very happy to have followed DQ's tip and these tires are both esthetical and in terms of general feeling a huge improvement compared to what I had. :)

I received my new Blockleys for a couple of weeks ago (205/70-14). They will be mounted on my CSL project when it is finished, but I could not resist the temptation to put them on my CS2800 with 3.3 L-jet engine and 205 / 55-16 front, 225 / 50-16 rear wheels while I'm waiting for the project to be finished.
No doubt that 14 "wheels provide a much better comfort. Less noise from the wheels too. I seriously considering having 14 " Blocleys on both cars!

Those look really nice. Guess I need to quickly burn through the Toyos I put on my car earlier this year.
