I’m pretty sure I have a set of black leather headrests with the “ears”. It will take a bit of work to unearth them so let me know if interested.

FYI - We need to know what seats you have. The headrest post diameter changed over time.

What year is your car?

Do your seats have vertical pleats or horizontal on the seat backs?

If you have headrests already, do they have the pointy cat ears on top?

If you have headrests already, can you measure the diameter of the headrest posts?

Per @HB Chris compilation:

  • Headrests change from flat to peaked at the top corners during 3.0CS production at 2240543 and 2250439, posts still 10mm
  • 1974 Facelift: Seat pleats changed from vertical to horizontal, shoulder is now sewn and not tucked, headrest posts are now 12mm vs 10mm

if i remember correctly, there are 2 different post sizes - the originals thru early 73 were 10mm and the later ones were 12mm. that is probably the same time that the cat ears came into existence.

I will update the FAQ, the peaked headrests are 12mm bs 10 earlier. These are on my 5/73 coupe.

Sounds like you want the ones that @Krzysztof is offering. FYI - Walloth sells the trim rings. Not sure if they have in chrome but they did sell in black.
I checked and they seem to be out of stock on the bits I need. And my car has blue marine vinyl/leather, not cloth. I just need something to prevent us from snapping in half if we get rear-ended. I'll deal with the esthetics later. Thanks guys.
