any classic BMW is welcome on the E9 thread, but this particular example is a bit 'unique' for my taste...
Infact when I first glanced at the photo it reminded me of Ford Escorts from my youth in Australia... the guys would add all kinds of hideous flares and striping kits...

frankly between the modified 2002 listed for sale and a Ford Escort RS2000 mk2 , I would take the Ford,,, am I banished from the E9 Forum now?

Similar to some of the Stanceworks cars, it would appear that a lot of time and effort went into this car and the quality, at first glance without studying each and every pic, seems pretty good. For that, I give respect to the owner even though it might not be my taste.

I think this might have been at the 02 show earlier this year near SFO. Not to my taste (and I am ok with modded cars), but if it was the same car it didn't seem like a hack job at the time.
